after seeing, and using Microsoft future compute i have desired to dump windows and use linux computers

Ugly and to basic (and i dont like size 72 font on my PC as well as adds)

However don't know how to install minetest 0.4.3 (i have seem to downloaded a older version instead of 0.4.3 or 0.4.4. could you also tell me the location of the file so i can add mods and texture packs. I am using Zorin-OS which can run Ubuntu programs thanks

It depends on which distribution you intend to use. Under linux, it is perfectly normal to compile the source of Minetest yourshelf. It does only take a few minutes and gives you the most current version

You need to go to the git repository. Download at your box the 0.4.3 source and follow the instruction at the git mainpage of cerleron55 minetest to compile it in a few seconds.
